Scope of Work:
Armstrong Service has been at the Beech- Nut site since February, 2010. Armstrong is responsible for operation and maintenance of the utility systems at the Beech-Nut, Amsterdam, NY site including the following equipment:
- (2) 75,000 lb/hr boilers and all associated support equipment, steam distribution system, and condensate return system
- Compressed air system including compressors, associated dryers, and distribution system
- Steam heated process hot water systems
- Complete facility HVAC systems
- Water softeners
The O&M Agreement is a 3-year term.
The Beech-Nut facility is staffed with Armstrong utility experts that drive to the highest level of safety, efficiency, reliability and quality. The utility improvement focus centers on energy savings by identifying projects and operational improvements that drive utility usage down, lowering the overall cost of manufacturing at the facility.
