Scope of Work:
Armstrong International is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the co-generation plant assets which include:
- Four Caterpillar engine driven Kato generators, producing 2.6 MW of electricity
- Four waste heat recovery boilers producing 44,000 lbs/hr of steam
- Two absorption chillers with a total capacity of 700 tons
- Four cooling towers
- All other associated equipment to operate this cogeneration plant
Armstrong employs full time on-site management to oversee the cogeneration operations.
Armstrong is responsible for identifying future utility improvement opportunities including electrical, steam, compressed air, chilled water, and waste water, and recommending cost saving solutions.
Terms:
Began May of 2003, with three-year renewal beginning January 2004.
