Mixing Valves: Steam & Water
Armstrong offers a range of thermostatic steam/water mixing valves. These valves are economical alternatives to hot-water storage or central heat-exchange systems, because they use existing plant steam to heat cold water instantly at the point of use.
Armstrong steam/water mixing valves use bimetallic thermostatic technology to automatically proportion inlet steam and water supplies to achieve and maintain a desired outlet temperature. The valves are equipped with an integral site-adjustable, maximum-temperature limit stop.
With flow rates up to 70 gpm (181 lpm), Armstrong steam/water mixing valves are suitable for hot-water vessels or high-volume industrial process applications.
