Background:

The local Armstrong International representative worked with the maintenance engineer at the VA Hospital in Southern California on a water heating opportunity. The facility needed to replace its current hot water system and liked the space savings and total engineering and installation services offered from Armstrong. Further, the hospital preferred to order from the GSA schedule.

Armstrong and its local representative supplied a final installation proposal and related pricing for the installation segment of the project.

Armstrong submitted a formal proposal to the Contracting Officer in accordance with ASI’s GSA pricing that included a complete installation proposal.

Scope of Work:

Armstrong engineered and installed a complete Flo-Rite-Temp Steam Instantaneous Hot Water Heater System for the VA Hospital.

Benefits:

The hot water package was installed on-time and was a complete turnkey solution for the hospital. An additional order for another building on the campus was received in April for an additional water heater package.
