Scope of Work:

Armstrong Service engineered, designed, and installed a Process Hot Water System for Gorton’s Seafood plant expansion.

Upgrade Projects:

Installed a 4,000,000 BTU Armstrong Flo-Direct^® Hot Water Heater
Installed Transfer Pumps
Installed FRP 1,500 gallon storage tank
Installed a pressure booster pump system with manual start-stop control
Installed all required auxiliary piping
Installed (6) wash station drops and hose reels

Contract:

The value of the Agreement was $140,000.

Time of Service:

Project was completed in September, 2003.

Benefits:

Gorton’s site management wanted to concentrate on the requirements of the plant expansion and welcomed Armstrong turnkey capabilities. Further, Gorton’s received a hot water heating system that is 98% efficient.
