Scope of Work:

Armstrong provides this refinery with steam system optimization expertise by placing a well-trained and experienced employee on-site. He provides consultancy service to the process, technical, maintenance, and project engineering departments. He is also responsible for organizing the sites steam repair team, thru the use of Armstrong’s Preventative Maintenance Software, to insure all approved steam upgrade projects are implemented.

Upgrade Projects:

  • The specific responsibilities include the survey, repair, and replacement of the 12,000 steam trap population, trouble shooting all steam system problems, and recommending and overseeing steam capital projects.
  • The service effectiveness is measured against Key Performance Indicators that compare cost of repairs versus savings.

Time of Service:

This agreement began in 1996 and continues with a 3-year renewable term.
