Scope of Work:

Armstrong International owns and services the steam generation assets and maintains the corresponding distribution system throughout the Bates Troy facility.

The total peak steam capacity is 15,000 lbs/hr.

Armstrong services and supports all the utility operations including utility bill tracking and payment, recognizing areas of inefficiency, and regular energy use reporting.

Upgrade Projects:

Recovered all vented flash steam
Engineered and installed steam distribution line modifications
Installed automation for chemical feed system to the boiler
Replaced all defective steam traps
Corrected all live steam/condensate leaks
Insulated all bare piping

Contract:

The total value of this Agreement is $600,000.

Time of Service:

10 year Service and Support Term began January, 2000.

Benefits:

Gas consumption has been reduced by 20% (with 5% increase in production).

Electric consumption has been reduced by 13%.
