THREE RIVERS, MICHIGAN - Representatives from Armstrong International will lead a one-day steam system training workshop on Thursday, May 20, in conjunction with the Energy and Innovation Summit, May 18-20, at the Amway Grand Plaza in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Attendees will learn the fundamentals of steam system optimization, energy auditing and best practices, steam trap management and life cycle cost analysis.
Patricia Provot, corporate engineer of Armstrong International, will lead the workshop. Provot brings her international steam system experience including engineering process standardization and energy auditing on behalf of leading global companies in food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. In addition, Tom Lago, senior application engineer with Armstrong Steam & Condensate Group will highlight optimizations in a steam distribution system; TJ Secord, product specialist in Armstrong's Smart Services Group will provide an overview of effective steam trap management; and Matt McNamara, application engineer with Armstrong Condensate Management Group, will discuss strategies to optimize a condensate return system.
