Armstrong Service Reaches Safety Milestone

THREE RIVERS - Armstrong Service, Inc. is coming off a great year as it pertains to its outstanding safety record. The key service arm of Armstrong International, ASI went through the entire 2008 calendar year without one OSHA recordable injury.

"This was not an individual achievement, but a championship team success," praised David Armstrong, President and CEO of Armstrong Global Holdings. "Last year was obviously another exciting and successful year for ASI. Having had zero recorded incidents in 2008 is an incredible accomplishment for the ASI team."

What is even more amazing is that ASI has not had a recordable injury over the last 24 months and counting.

"Zero is achievable," emphasized Rick Cumbo, ASI Operations and Maintenance Manager. "Our safety performance demonstrates our strong commitment to doing what is right. "

Armstrong echoed Cumbo's thoughts and summed it all up in this way: "I am very pleased to see the ASI team accomplish such a key goal, and I want everyone to know that I fully appreciate the efforts of each person that was associated with this notable performance," praised Armstrong.
