Computrol Acquires Wolf Electronix
Meridian, ID. – Computrol Inc., a member company of Armstrong Global Holdings, Inc., headquartered in Meridian, Idaho, announced the acquisition of Wolf Electronix, Inc., a leading Orem, Utah based electronic contract manufacturing operation. Charlie Scott, president of Computrol, said, “This acquisition expands Computrol’s service market in the high tech Salt Lake City area while increasing production capacity and overall flexibility of service throughout our three locations. We now have the production and technology expertise of more than 300 individuals. We expect the synergy of this acquisition to provide greater customer service and technology solutions to Computrol’s and Wolf’s current and future customers.” According to Jim Trent, Jr., president of Wolf Electronix, Inc., “With Computrol’s technological capability and financial stability, we have found the right partner to assist us in expanding our electronic contract manufacturing capabilities. Computrol’s long history of world-class customer service, quality and on-time delivery were critical reasons in moving forward with this partnership.” “Current operational matters for the Wolf facility will remain at the Orem, Utah location,” Scott noted.
