GP-2000 Externally Piloted Reducing Valve - Troubleshooting
When Downstream Pressure Continually Rises
Test main valve and pilot:
- Isolate valve
- Back adjusting bolt off
- Remove tubing from pilot and main valve
- Turn steam on
- If steam leaks at top port, the pilot may be dirty
- Replace pilot capsule K-2110
- If steam leaks at middle port, the main valve may be dirty
- Lap main valve and seat
