Process Air Heaters

Process air heaters are used for drying or heating products. Process dryers and tunnel dryers are used in the paper, lumber, textile and food industries. Combustion air pre-heaters are used on furnaces and boilers in many industries. Like comfort air heaters, they may be supplied with constant or modulating steam pressure. They differ, however, in that process heaters generally operate at much higher temperatures. Temperatures of 500°F (260°C) are not uncommon in process heat applications.
