Condensate Line Sizing

Much like steam lines, when condensate lines are too large, then purchase, installation and operation costs increase substantially. Undersized lines can create too much back pressure, lowering heat transfer and terminal equipment efficiency or causing the trap to malfunction. Undersized lines also increase the chance of water hammer.
