Absorption Tanks

Absorption refrigeration machines use steam to evaporate another water solution (usually lithium bromide). The temperature reduction that occurs (called the concentration portion of the cycle) provides the cooling for air conditioning or process cooling equipment. Absorption machines are constructed in low pressure, single stage units, or high pressure, double stage units.
