PED Certification

Armstrong products conform to the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) of 1999.

The purpose of the Pressure Equipment Directive was to standardize the national laws of various European countries regarding the design, manufacture, testing and conformity assessment of pressure equipment and assemblies of pressure equipment.

The directive specifically affects manufacturers of pressurized storage containers, heat exchangers, steam generators, boilers, industrial piping, safety devices and pressure accessories.
