Course Syllabus
Selecting steam traps is the process of choosing the best type of steam trap for the application and pressure specifications. Recommendations for trap selection are provided in this course.
Sizing is the practice of choosing the particular trap model that meets the load requirements of the application. The objective in sizing traps is to select one that can operate at the maximum differential pressure while being able to handle the predicted load at the minimum differential pressure.
